Little Heroes - Nothing can stop our joy

Ambre, Camille, Charles, Imad and Tugdual live for the moment. We experience with them their games, their joys, their laughter, their dreams and their illness. The five little protagonists are between six and nine years old. They are full of energy, but compared to other children they have a special feature: they are seriously ill, but enjoy the present all the more for it. With a large portion of humour and optimism, they take us along on their journey and show us their world. "Little Heroes" is a feature-length documentary about the power of life. In it, director Anne-Dauphine Julliand accompanies five children who are willing to share their everyday lives, their doubts and joys with us. She has managed to capture the openness and innocence of these amazing children who are truly everyday heroes. For their serious illnesses make them very mature for their age and have given them a strength that remains hidden from most of us. They recognise the power of the moment.
