Tibbe is a cat lover and extremely shy. He works as a reporter for a small daily newspaper in a small town in Holland. When he is about to lose his job because he is always too shy to get the big stories, he meets the mysterious Minusch, a young woman who behaves very differently from the way young women usually behave. She loves fish, can talk to cats and claims to have been a cat herself until she became human by accident.
