Escape Route to Marseilles - Part 1

In 1977, Ingemo Engström and Gerhard Theuring set out on a journey through France. They followed the flight movement of the German emigration in France in 1940/41, filmed the places, interviewed contemporary witnesses, linked the times. The resulting film FLUCHTWEG NACH MARSEILLE is subtitled "Images from a working journal (1977) on the novel Transit (1941) by Anna Seghers".
