Brecht die Macht der Manipulateure

Society/Everyday life, Germany/Finland 1968

The film was made in Otto F. Gmelin's seminar in the politically active "Group 3" that was forming at the dffb after the death of Benno Ohnesorg in autumn 1967, including Hartmut Bitomsky, Harun Farocki and Helke Sander, among others. BRECHT DIE MACHT DER MANIPULATEURE (1967/68) documents Helke Sander's confrontation with the anti-Springer campaign of the student movement and its consequences.
